Globalize Your ASU Degree

The Center for Global Education Services (CGES) offers ASU students the experience of a lifetime with study abroad and international exchange programs. CGES administers over 220 study abroad and exchange programs in over 40 countries around the world. CGES programs are available during the summer, fall semester, spring semester or full academic year. Participants in CGES programs earn ASU resident credit for their studies, so that they are not taking any time away from their normal degree progress. Feel free to browse through the CGES website to learn about how you can Globalize Your ASU Degree!

Study at ASU

We're glad that you are interested in the exchange program through the Center for Global Education Services. We're sure that your time here will be one of the most unique and important experiences of your life. The focus of the exchange program is on academic learning, but we are also eager to make your experience at ASU enjoyable as well as educational. We offer assistance in housing placement, an orientation upon arrival, assistance with registration, and information about the many non-academic activities around campus and the community throughout the year. In order to participate in the exchange program at ASU, you must be nominated by one of ASU's partner institutions. Once you have been nominated, our exchange program coordinator will be available to answer questions you may have about studying at ASU.

International Faculty & Scholars Office at ASU

The International Faculty & Scholars Office (Immigration/Employment Visa Services), within the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement, is responsible for the administration of ASU's Exchange Visitor Program and Employment-Based Visa Programs. The responsibilities of this office also include providing information, guidance and advice to the various departments, programs and colleges of Arizona State University's three campuses, as well as to the University's faculty, staff, students and guests on questions and issues related to the University's J-1 Exchange Visitor, Employment-based Visa Programs and other immigration-related issues.

U.S. Passport Office

The Passport Office, within the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement, is responsible for providing full-service processing of U.S. Passport Application(s) for U.S. Citizens. We serve the entire local community, not just ASU students, faculty and staff. Please visit the Passport Office if you need to apply for a new U.S. passport, replace a lost U.S. passport, or renew an existing U.S. passport.
