Apply for a CGES Program

As soon as you have selected your CGES program, you should follow the steps listed on this page to apply before our published application deadlines. You are encouraged to apply early in order to allow yourself plenty of time to complete the necessary application materials. Early application is also encouraged because some programs fill before their deadline.

Here's what you need to do to apply for a CGES Study Abroad, Exchange or Internship Program

1. Create a myIPO account by clicking the link at the top or bottom of this page. You must remember to select a program after creating your myIPO account. Doing so will register you in the CGES system and allow us to distribute the program application to you.

2. After creating your myIPO account, you will receive an automatic reply confirming your eligibility status for your selected program. If you are eligible, you will be directed to come to CGES to obtain your program application packet.

3. Complete your program application packet by following instructions on the checklist attached to your application. Once completed you must turn in your application packet, along with any requested supporting documentation and fees, no later than March 1 for summer, fall, and academic year programs or October 1 for spring programs.
