Initiating Study Abroad/Exchange Programs or Sponsoring Foreign Scholars

The Center for Global Education Services (CGES) and the International Faculty and Scholars Office (IFSO) are pleased to provide services for both ASU faculty wishing to create new international programming for their students, as well ASU faculty and departments engaged in academic activities with faculty and researchers from other countries. Initiating Study Abroad or Exchange Programs

Any ASU faculty member who wishes to propose new international programming should click on the appropriate link to learn more or contact the CGES Inter-Institutional Agreements Manager to request a new program application packet. All new programs must be reviewed and approved by both the leadership of the initiator's academic unit and t by the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement.

Sponsoring International Faculty and Scholars

The International Faculty and Scholars Office (IFSO) under the authority of the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement administers the J-1 Exchange Program and provides comprehensive services for visiting scholars and foreign faculty. The Office works with various university offices to assure compliance with laws and to provide a smooth transition to the ASU community.
